Registered Massage Therapy
Where therapeutic care meets a calm, restorative experience.
Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment approach designed to support the body's natural ability to heal, recover, and function optimally. Whether you are experiencing pain, tension, stress, injury, postural strain, swelling, limited mobility, or simply looking to support your overall well-being, massage therapy can be tailored to meet your individual needs.
Each treatment begins with an assessment of your concerns, goals, and health history to create a personalized treatment plan unique to you. Sessions may incorporate a variety of evidence-informed techniques, including therapeutic massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, stretching, joint mobilization, manual lymphatic drainage, and relaxation-based techniques. Pressure can range from gentle to deep, depending on your preferences and treatment goals. Remedial exercises may be given to help you in between treatments.
Massage therapy can benefit a wide range of individuals, including those experiencing chronic pain, headaches, muscle tension, sports-related injuries, stress and anxiety, postural dysfunction, swelling, restricted movement, and everyday aches and pains.
As a Registered Massage Therapist, treatment is provided within the scope of practice of massage therapy, focusing on the assessment and treatment of soft tissues and joints to help reduce pain, improve mobility, support recovery, and enhance overall health and wellness.
No two bodies are the same, and no two treatments are the same. Every session is thoughtfully customized to address what is most important to you, helping you move, feel, and function at your best.
Escape the rush and enjoy a treatment experience designed to help you truly unwind. Located in my home in Waldhof, Ontario (just 20 minutes from Dryden and only 7 minutes from Vermilion Bay) this peaceful setting offers a quiet retreat just off the Trans-Canada Highway.
The treatment room features an extra-wide luxury massage table with optional heated comfort, creating a space where you can fully relax. For those who enjoy additional therapeutic support, infrared heat panels are available upon request to complement your treatment. (And if you tend to run warm, they're easily left off!)
Beyond the treatment room, you'll also have access to a dedicated yoga and movement studio, where individualized remedial exercises and self-care strategies can be incorporated into your treatment plan when appropriate. My goal is not only to help you feel better during your session, but to give you the tools to continue feeling your best long after you leave.
Please note that the treatment space is located on the lower level of my home and requires the use of stairs, so it may not be accessible for everyone. If you require accommodations, please don't hesitate to reach out -will do my best to find a solution that allows you to receive the care you need.
